Limitations

Although the project successfully demonstrates High Availability for the application layer, several limitations remain.

The current implementation includes:

  • Independent MariaDB servers without replication

  • Single HAProxy server

  • No floating Virtual IP

  • No automatic SSL certificate management

  • No centralized monitoring platform

These limitations represent opportunities for future improvements.
